No. OndaPass is 100% web-based. It works in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) from computer, tablet or phone. The QR scanner also works from the browser, no need to install anything.
We integrate Yappy (commission of only 1.07%) and PagueloFacil (Visa, Mastercard, Clave — 3.5% + $0.50). These are the payment methods that Panamanians already know and use. We also support ACH transfers.
Each QR goes through 5 security layers: JWT signature (ES256), Redis verification (token exists and hasn't been used), database validation (active ticket), correct event verification, and time validation (event in progress). All in under 0.5 seconds.
Yes. With hybrid mode you can have free ticket types (by invitation) and paid ones (online sales) in the same event. Each type has its own QR and configuration.
We are finishing the integration (coming soon). Once available, upon receiving the invitation the attendee will be able to add their ticket directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet with a single click, with QR, event details and automatic updates. In the meantime the ticket is delivered by email with the QR attached.
It depends on your plan. All plans allow up to 100,000 attendees per event. Mass import from Excel makes it easy to load large lists quickly.
OndaPass requires an internet connection to work. QR validation needs connectivity to verify the ticket status in real-time and prevent fraud.
